My Dragon Spirit

My Dragon Spirit

A Poem by FamaSemperVivat
"

Still a work in progress

"
My Dragon Spirit has got control,
Where she'll take me I do not know
Will her tale have a Celtic flair
or will she pull it from thin air

My pen is under a dragon's spell
what tale is told I cannot tell
Will she tell us of days long gone
or teach about the Dragon's Song

I hear her voice inside my head
I do not fear, nor do I dread
Her voice soft and gentle to me
defies the image man does see

A Dragon's look is fierce,
yet she can be--
gentle and loving
to those she sees

Beautiful!
Ever since I read the book Eragon, I started thinking dragons sounded powerful and beautiful and completely ...well, awesome. :)
This expressed so much and gave me imagery ^^ I like that you put a picture with it too, very nice.

I absolutely love this! The thought of a gentle and loving dragon with a fierce nature when needed is an awesome thing indeed. Well done. Great rhyme and flow. Keep on penning.

Oh, I love dragons, I watch very little to no TV, but I saw a dragon movie late last night when I could not sleep. I love the flow and rhyme, this does sing a lovely Dragon's Song. Wonderful work as always! David *hug*

gentle and loving with a fierce look - just as a dragon SHOULD be :) I love stories and poems of dragons - I think my Scottish/Irish ancestry must work through the dna sometimes!
