A Recipe for DisasterA Poem by FamaSemperVivatOne of my very first AP poems actually a mistake that started me on the writing track.
In a very large bowl, place three unrelated thoughts, separated from a swiss cheese brain.
Whip into frenzy, then add a dash of confusion and beat until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In saucepan mix a cup or two of strength and courage, with a just pinch of stubbornness. Let it come to a full rolling boil over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water; remove from heat and pout into the large bowl of unrelated thoughts in a fine stream beating constantly until glossy, continue beating until gloss subsides. Then-- When beaten well add a teaspoon of insanity, along with a touch of impatience.
And spread unevenly in oblong pan, then try to wait until cool. © 6/3/2010 M Suzanne Wyatt, All rights reserved © 2011 FamaSemperVivatAuthor's Note
