Weep Not For The Passion

Weep Not For The Passion

A Poem by Notapoet

Weep not for the passion;

but for your love my heart consumes.

Taste not my lips;

but the desire upon my breath.

Feel not the touch of my hands,

but the beating of my heart against yours.

See not my eyes;

but deep within my soul

where the essence of my being

awaits your embrace.

Ache not for my leaving

but for the loneliness felt

from being apart.

Rejoice not for my return

but for the love I bring anew…

This is just beautiful. More than sight, love uses all the senses, known and unknown. This sums up perfectly what is wished for, yet rarely given. But when it is, all know it's reality.
