Wooden Heart

Wooden Heart

A Poem by Notapoet

Thy wooden heart

Stands unloved

Within the hollows

Of the forest despair

Bare limbs reach

For passions still longed for.

Rooted deep on dying heartache

My tears unable to nourish

Dreams of sunlight

into dank soil now immersed…

Thy flourishing hopes

Now In flora decay.
