Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Fallstar
"

What is nothing? Why is there anything rather than nothing?

"

Contemplate the eternal,

Nothing.

You are all you will ever be,

Nothing.

Only one door opens to you,

Nothing.

All things are your dread foemen,

Nothing,

All things from cement roof to rust,

Nothing,

Bar you with invincible force,

Nothing.

Dead bodies and living people,

Nothing,

Hold fast your door with life and death,

Nothing.

Burning suns and moving planets,

Nothing,

Hold your door with heat and movement,

Nothing.

Your all-sealed cell will long last,

Nothing:

I should only fear this doorside,

Nothing...

Til He come as night-thief to knock,

Nothing,

Your world-sealed door that it open,

Nothing.

This is the first poem of yours which my eyes have graced. And thus, with this introspective, philosophical piece, do you first establish yourself.

well written. ^^

Because that's all we are, is nothing. Very nice. And He is coming back soon, isn't He?
