Death

Death

A Poem by (*Fallenarchanglez*)

Death.

What waits for us

What lurks in the darkness

What do we really fear?

Death.

A cover story

We hide from truth

Like ants from water

What do we really hide from?

Death.

Angels

Do they exist

Are they what we really hide from?

Death.

Demons

Do they exist

Are they what we really hide from?

Death.

Monsters

Do they exist

Are they what we really hide from?

Death.

Monsters

Do they exist

Are they what we really hide from?

Death.

We run

We hide

We fear.

Dear lord,

Inspire me,

Give me life,

Breath,

Hope,

And take it all.

Inspire me,

To live,

To love,

To have happiness.

Inspire me,

To die.

I live,

But have I lived?
