Glorifying the Pain Inflicted

Glorifying the Pain Inflicted

A Poem by (*Fallenarchanglez*)

The dream of a child,

Broken,

Shattered,

Thrown away.

Disregard for the innocent,

Disregard for the naïve,

Disregard for the heart,

Only regard for the broken.

Her heart is torn:

Help the innocent,

Hide who she is,

Hide the true her.

Her heart is torn:

Help the broken,

Play the dark games,

Break the innocent.

But where’s the one

Who broke her?

Through breaking her dreams?

The one she would help?

Show the pain,

Steal the glory.

Can she dream?

Does she sleep?

Is she now the devil?

All questions of the innocent.

No more pain,

If she helps prevent it.

No more happiness

If she helps destroy it.

Her heart will sway

She will become weak,

There is no cure,

No treatment.

Help or Hinder?

good or Evil?

What is the right choice?

How will she sway?

A dream can be forgotten,

Many a dream will be.

but can the pain be forgotten?

Does the pain truly fade?

Hide the pain,

Receive the glory.
