Stopping to Listen, I'm Not Sure I Like What I Heard. (God is history and so will I)

Stopping to Listen, I'm Not Sure I Like What I Heard. (God is history and so will I)

A Poem by Ian Lundin

The afterlife is just a memory
This fury that resides inside of me
Waiting patiently to be unleashed
Message of the great eternity
Procrastination's just a symptom of the greater hesitation
That boat is leaving and I'm left with this sinking feeling
Thinking maybe it's this whole damn boat that's sinking
Letting go just to hold on to my sanity
Without internal momentum we all fall to gravity
I can't get it all to fit inside my mind
Sacrifices must be made in the great charade
Listen intently to the cannonade
Concussion and repercussion
Nothing is without cause and we all have an effect
Centralized or globalized
Who will remember?

Writing is like a one way window. You open the blinds but you still can't see out, even though the whole world can see in. It's the ideas that I can't yet express that drive me forward. Someday I hope.. more..
