The first time

The first time

A Poem by Follan

The first time you hugged me
I thought I had seen a shooting star, heading my way
Even if this was just a California dessert,
The first time you kissed me
I thought the world had disappear but you still were there
The stars crackled the moon chuckled as if to say young love,
Even if I was an dead star vacant with no shine,
...
The first time she hugged me,
I thought my heart danced,
But why is that after all we were just plain buds,
The first time she kissed me
There was this empty feeling filling me,
Like I was lost in space.
But why she didn't say she love me ?
...
The first time ,the first time,
I was loved
But why do I feel so lonely?
Aren't closed enough?
Didn't we kiss ,hug?
Why am I still so empty?
....
Lacing my heart with chains and knives ,
Is this the first time?

I really like the concept and the way you tied it together at the end. It shows and depicts the confusion accurately.

Thank you,Ms.Hemstock.
I'm not sure of this either, this is win or lose piece.
