Brittle love

Brittle love

A Poem by Follan

You're killing me
Stabbing me with your words
Choking me with your voice
Burning me with your smile
You say that our love priceless
Worth more than an angel's tears
Worth more than any demon's soul,
More than your life.
But we are not lovers
We are friends
Family
Siblings but never lovers
You're murdering me
Slicing my heart with the truth
Suffocating me with those thoughts you hide

Telling me we are soul mates
Stomping on my brittle heart,
If I tell you I love you more than anything
Is that enough?
If I sell my heart for you
Will you love me
And take part in my brittle love?
You're killing me..
