Questions

Questions

A Poem by Follan

Hair ,black as raven..
She said she would show me the world,
Eyes brighter than stars,
She said she'll care for me,
But to her I was only a lamb waiting for its owner,
She said she will show me the way
But I could never ask a single question
For years ,I listened and asked no questions,
Until the day she said the path is done
I don't care anymore you are to go.
I ask her why..
But there was no reply
She's now just the common soul and nothing more
But she knows I have her in my heart,
She knows I will forever be her lamb, lost and gone..
But what she didn't know was that I was able to stay quiet because she was there.
I was just a stupid fool looking for love and a place..
A lamb, that didn't know that love wasn't simple.
Just a simple lamb who was in love with a beauty,
I will never catch..
Questions I wanted to ask..
But loved her too much to ask
The beautiful Raven
I will never catch..
