Jonathan Etheridge.
A warrior fighting
Losing the fight.

Jonathan Etheridge
Overlooking life’s
Not a single disobedience
A strong brother in arms.
The most encouraged soldier in the field.
His heart strong, His mind weak.
Another soldier falls before him.
Not a single tear can he afford to spare.

Eternal internal battles never ends
To many thoughts washed down in his tears.
He will never fall. He can’t fall.
Ever and ever, his lifetime in the war.
Riding strong in armored vehicles.
I can’t change the fact that he’s in Iraq.
Death can’t find him it never will.
Giving his life for all of you out there.
Eternal internal battles never ends

Jonathan Etheridge.
A dying soldier.
Lost the fight.

Soldiers pay for the sins of Governments not trying to get along. I was a soldier for 15 years. Knowing people like you know and care make a Soldier life better. We need to remember your friend and all soldiers standing tall and without fear. Thank you for remembering a Soldier.

very good!! you're improving rapidly and it's great to see - the word play is brilliant here - "eternal internal" - very clever!! and the subject content is obviously layered with personal emotion and that comes through! very nice!!
