Ink On The Page

"
A silent tear slides a cheek
Did they make you cry?
Or did I?
Is this his final fall?
Or just another brawl?
Is it a clash with my sanity?
I demand serenity
Is this all?
Ink on the page

I see an exit
Damn I wanna take it
A proper burial
For a broken man
Is this all?
Ink on the page

I feel old
Or do I?
Is it just the fact I can cry?
F**k I think I wanna die
Why am I so obsessed with that thought?
It lingers in what I sought
It dwells in my mind
I can’t really find
The ink on the page

This desperation is leaving me overjoyed
I want to leave right now
Just so I won’t get disappointed

Truth in a kernel, your lines speak of age being what we feel or think ourselves to be.

Age is just a number. We can be old at a young age when a child must play the part of a adult. Ink on a page can release some of the rage. Life is a twisted journey. When you find paradise. Best enjoy it. Can evaporate away as quickly as it came. Everyone need a escape. To clean the mind. A excellent poem.
