The Story of A Fallen Hero

The Story of A Fallen Hero

A Poem by FallenHeroXx
"

The reason i want to be known as A Fallen Hero

"
I am a loner
I have always been a loner
Now I wish I was a goner

My friend asked me today
What’s your theory for calling yourself
A Fallen Hero

I simply answered
Everyone has a hero inside
Everyone has a hero who can fall inside

My inner hero fell
When I fell to depression
Since then I wanted to be know only as

A Fallen Hero
A Fallen Hero
A Fallen, Broken, Beaten and Dying Hero

Every time your hero rises
He can crash further and further
He will be your fallen hero too

I Stand here merely
Wanting to lie in the glamour and grace
Of a god I don’t even believe in

I want to find a way
To continue this life
Even though I am A Fallen Hero

A Fallen Hero
A Fallen Hero
A Fallen, Broken Beaten and Dying Hero

I will find a way to rise
Rise as the only fallen hero in the world
I Will Live On

That will be her curse
That I Will Live On
A Fallen Hero

This is what I truly am
These are my own scars
They cannot be healed

I wanna die, I have thought of it
You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve almost killed myself
All because I am A Fallen Hero

A Fallen Hero
A Fallen Hero
A Fallen, Broken, Beaten and Dying Hero

Sometimes the fallen heroes give the best advice because they know the mistakes NOT to make. If you live in a world where you are your own fallen hero you have aleg up on the rest.
I'd like to see this as a narrative of some sort. Why not wrest it from the poem form and make it a dialogue?

lol. this is the poem from the book. good thing you put it on here seperately as well. and the falling hero, again something i've felt, though never thought to describe this way. but heroes are like phoenixes; they always rise again. so for now you may be fallen, but you will rise to the occasion again

I like this poem. I met many fallen hero in bars and taverns. I know the feeling also. One day you are the best. Next day no better then a pile of s**t. Great storyline and I like the ending. The poem flowed with a purpose. A excellent poem.

The opinion at this junction is that I would love to hear this performed or sung out. It sounds in the readers mind like a chant or rap or song. A very ingenious way of explaining one's raison de etré.
