"

A dimond bullet and gun made of gold, she was covered in blood, last seen in San Frinsisco.

"

    "Just shut up! God, I can't stand you!" Not even together two minutes and Rowan and her mother were at it again. "I'm sorry I can't be perfect like you! You just get everything you want,l you just want people to pay attention to you." Those words had been spoken by her own mother. "Why did you even call for help? You don't want me here, you never did!" Rowan fiddled with the necklace she always wore around her neck, she bit down of the figure of a wing that was engraved with feathers on the silver chain.

    "You're right. I SHOULD have let you drown and waited until you were gone before I called for help. It would have made things so much easier." Rowans jaw fell slack and the necklace fell around her neck once more. Hot tears filled her eyes as she looked into the ones filled with despise, the eyes of her own mother. She clenched her jaw and turned on her heel, tears flowing over her cheek as she walked out the front door. She pulled her hood over her head to cover from the rain, shoved her earbuds in, and walked as she listened to music.

   Rowan walked to the park that was a fifteen minute walk from her house. No one ever was at the park so it was perfect. She sat on a bench already soaked with rain. She starred at her feet and let the tears fall on her Converes. She sat there for about fifteen minutes when she saw another pair of shoes standing in front of her. She looked up, curiously. Regretting it instantly. Her stomach flipped and her heart dropped. One word she feared for the past month slipped out of her mouth. "Jay."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Jay sat next to her on the wooden bench and looked over the park. He looked as gorgeous as ever. Blue and black stripped jacket hood over his long, black hair that covered his beautiful, green eyes. He still smelled the same as ever, she sat so close to him she could smell his musky scent. She scooted farther away from him, her stomach turning. He looked at her after a while. "How've you been, Rowan?" Her heart learched as he spoke her name. She didn't answer at first and took her time responding. "Not so good, obviously." He nodded. "So I heard. But you're home now, which is good." She snorted in disgust. "Is it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why do you care?" She looked to the side, starring at the abandoned swing set, covered in rain. She heard him sigh but didn't look at him. More tears came, she tried to fight them, and lost. "Rowan." She squeezed her eyes shut at his voice speaking her name. She looked slightly his way, but not directly at him. "I was afraid you would do something when I broke it off, but I never imagined..." He trailed off. "I don't need your sympathy. Save it for someone who cares." Rowan stood, looked around the park, then at him, and told him good bye. She turned and walked away from him, not looking back.
    Rowan didn't know what to do now. She couldn't go back to the park or her own house. She sat on the curb of a street and put her head in her hands. Her ringtone went off on her phone. "A dimond bullet, a gun made of gold, she was covered in blood, last seen in San Fransisco."
She dug her phone out and fliped it open. "Hello?"
"Row?!" She sighed, it was Zoey. "Hey, Zo." Zoey seriously squeeled like a little girl getting a pony for her birthday. "Rowan! I heard you're back, can you come over?" F**k it. "Sure, I'll be there in a minute." She hung up the phone and started walking in the direction of Zoey's house, the oppisite way of her own house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Zoey and Rowan sat on the floor of her bedroom listening to We Came As Romans, Zoey's favorite band band, and talked. Zoey had blond hair and pretty, green eyes. They hadn't seen each other for a while because Zoey had been sent to Prospect for drugs and she attended a new school. Rowans head was in Zoey's lap as she stroked and braided her hair. Rowan cried as she told her what happened from the beginning, starting with Jay and the rose to Jay and the park.

    "I think Jay's dumb and you shouldn't think of him anymore."

"Easier said than done."

"I'm just going to be honest with you, babyboo. Jay is stupid and no one likes him. Seriously, he isn't nice to anyone and always makes fun of other people. He wasn't that great, nor will he ever be so it's best to forget aboiut him and don't talk to him. I know it's going to be hard but you can do this. This is the best thing for you to do." Rowan nodded, agreeing. She promised not to talk to him or even think of him, and she would try her best. They fell asleep watching movies and at one in the morning, the police came knocking.
