The Here and Now

...just something I managed to sputter out to try and describe how I currently feel

I want to sing out in sweet harmony
the song strangles in my breast
emotions feelings flood my senses
all playing their own symphony

notes plucked on the surface of my skin
chords struck in my heart
words you speak to me
new melodies make my head spin

seconds tick away at the clock
don't want this moment to stop
dizzy from no air in my lungs
shaking from the shock

words disappear before they reach my lips
to describe my current state
alien thoughts, foreign feelings
rhythm of my heart skips
