If Nobody Likes it?

If nobody likes it 

I will understand

and I will grow to be a man

not everybody likes me

This I understand

I have learned this

From the time I have grown

To be a man I got much understanding

On which I have grown up on plenty

I have many lessons along the way

For I was the one that they kicked and punched

Along the way I had my reasons to take it

But I just could not explain it until my last dying days

But now I'm in the safest place for now

I don't believe how I ended up here 

But now my body is at rest

and a joy to my life its better here

on the inside than the outside

They are very helpful but I'm not helpless

I try to earn my way I do the little things

Like keeping a smile upon my face

to remove the hurt I felt back in the days of old

But now I'm older wiser and full of glory knowledge too

that makes me feel the God is near

and the angels touch my shoulders too

I been bless you would not believe 

after the story of my life has been told

I was kind some called me worthless 

 but I had them fooled

For I had let go and let God

and he has put me in the right place

To lead and be happy at doing so

I was fearful but I have let it go

now God is running this show

and he has blessed me 10 times over

you bet you bottom dollar that's truth

His never ending light is shining on me through and through

His Protection guides me far and wide 

and this Jesus is my guide

I say Amen and I mean Amen 

to this story that is mine.
