If It wasn't for that grand old oldsA Poem by Falcon1My beautiful Car Sitting in my garageWhen It came to fun It didn't run It sat in the middle of my garage Right before that tennis ball that protects my kitchen walls And my Bedroom just down the hall I would not want to shake my world With the olds for a kitchen table It just would fit under my kitchen sink So I keep the tennis ball a couple feet from the garage walls To protect my home From an Olds invasion It could be a computation to find that olds in the place of your kitchen table with salt and pepper shakers tumbling on the floor Right next to the kitchen door That was the day we hit the gas instead of the break on our way into the garage parking In our lovely home now our homeowners insurance company Have cut us loose on our biggest payday But they had said for us there is no excuse It will take years to fix this mess You have an unlivable expense We will have to put a new roof over your head As we repair the damages to your house and home Your love should grow by miles While you're living in you're new life style.
