A love Story

Mountains to Climb

For Lover's to find.

Themselves in time and space

Making their ways to a few warm embraces.

Kissing like they practiced for years

Been knowing each other for a few months,

Stretching their legs on an adventure

Yes they have mountains to climb.

Rivers deep in a valley bed

Where they could lay by the shore,

skip a few rocks mindlessly

And he is repeating stories of glory days.

as she charmingly remembers his words 

of yesterday when he said how he loved her so,

He written down in a note

on a loose leaf piece of paper.

One note she held dear 

To her heart near,

As they sat 

Down by the rivers bed.

She pulled out her paper

and begun to read every last word.

A  joyful tear fell from his eyes,

As he known what he wrote.

 Them words meaningfully love with pride

Now his heart was growing,

for the love she was showing

For him, he realized as he smiled

and winked at her with a crack of a wrinkle.

On this older face his age was showing,

He just did not want to face 

All the time that time has erased.

All the smiles that they remember

Through the years of their love's embrace.

For they have never forgotten

Where it all began.

Such a youthful love of their's

No one else's could compare,

For Mountains to climb

and the valleys below.

And the stories that they have to spread

To their Grandchildren, 

that they have feed.

For it was true love from beginning to the end.
