All the Meant to be's

A changing in the world of Divorce

All the meant to be's

Were beaten by divorce

The Lord's Blessings taken away 

That's for sure

Promises broken in two

Lives shattered

People done communicating

and the children find their own way

Life on the other side of divorce

is rough and cruel

I hurt deep in side

For my family I had to leave behind

But I grown a gentle heart

and in that I am proud

I reached out to my Daughter's

and started a new start

They seen that their father of Divorce

was not trying to hurt them

and was growing in love for them

As he carved out a life alone

but he had them to reach out to and depend upon

and the love has grown day by day

Hearts mended in special ways

For they never lost their father to a divorce

They found in him a man that could depend upon

and his love was true to them

But his hurt was down deep in side

He needed to heal his lonely heart

His family bond was strong

They have reached out to him

and talked for many hours upon the wires

Talked about what was missing in his family visits

Time when by so quickly

and now the kids are in their 20's and 30's

We both respect our privacy

and the love for each other has grown

I can carry my head up high

and Love my Children with much pride

For I have left it up to the Lord

To be my loving guide.
