Disrespected in love for a lifetime

I remember those peaceful days
When you said you loved me so
But they were only words at the time
To sooth your sentimental mind

Into thinking you were in love with me
Forever and for always
But they were only words in passing time with me
My heartfelt words don't mean a thing to you,

You kicked me to the curb
When the next Tom,Dick Or Harry came along
and you said my words were only foolish talk
They don't come from my heart

This throws me for a tale spin
That I never got over that day
You said your words were only French
And you never spoken good English

You said I was tongue tied
When It came to saying how much I love you
I could not say the words that meant 
I was loving towards you

So you broken my heart
and left me for that other guy
And once again kicked me to the curb
So I never got the nerve to say 
I will love you Forever and a day.
