She wore our her welcome

She wore our her welcome

A Poem by Falcon1
"

A Sorrowful Goodbye

"
There was a time
When we were best of friends
I even married her
For that was how close we were

We shared a bond
One that we cringed upon
But years have eroded this bond
For our love got rusty

and we stop trying
for I hurt her so
She found another
and she told me I had to go

I was wise I move on quick
Feeling were hurt
but I was not going to be a fool
and become misguided

So we went about getting a Divorce
Cost some money of course
Some pain was involved
But that is par for the course

Falling out of love
is not as exciting as falling in
You were much younger then
Your whole life was ahead of you

You felt life's Dreams were before you
Maybe a lifetime of dream's
With that someone special
you were going to treat her like a Queen

and then Life happen
Things got turned upside down
she made you out to be a clown
Harmless stuff and you took it to heart

From that point things would not work out
for this was as good as it gets
and we were no longer each others pets
so before things got ugly I let them go.
