Love has slipped away

Love has slipped away

A Poem by Falcon1
"

With a certain person in Mind I do write this poem of love but she will be unknown

"
The Love Has Slipped Away
My Heart It did Pay
For that sweet Gal
Who got away

But most young love
Slips by the waste side
Many a young men
Swallow their pride

and Leave the Gal
To be another man's Bride
It could be a sign
A misguide pride

A longing Love Gone
By the waste side
She told me we could only be friends
I had to accept this truth

I had to let her loose
I had to find another
To mend my broken heart
That was torn apart

Her Love Has Slipped away
Even until this day
I think of her in a special way
She likes build relationships around good friends

For sometimes Love is just to painful
Too be expressed
The love story with no success
For that is the Love story of my Life.

I do understand this poem my friend. Sometime it feel like we don't support to know love. I liked the honest story and realistic ending in the poetry. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
