All Burdens Lifted

All Burdens Lifted

A Poem by Falcon1

All Burdens Lifted
To you Dear Lord I pray
Most each and everyday
Raise my heart mind and soul
To your spiritual realm

Keep me from sin and evil thoughts
and any harmful drugs that can be bought
take away temptation from my mind and soul
Make mine a pure heart as good as gold

Show me to that narrow path
The one that will lead me home at last
To your heavenly place of love
Where we can praise your amazing grace

Keep me from hell that hot and dry place
Sulfur and brimstone fire ever burning
Allow me to enter heaven's Pearly gates
and not a minute too late

For I been suffering here on earth
From bullies and other tormentors of Devils Realm
Who would gladly drive me insane
With all the pain they can dish out with twisted fate

I think the Good Lords going to put enough on my plate
For the Good Lord just knows how to keep me straight
The narrow road I will not stray
For when It's time to give up my ghost
I want to meet the Lord of Host.

Amen!
God is so good and I love him so very much.

Loving the message, but it seems too general and not personal enough. It also feels like you focused so much on making it rhyme that you lost important bits of it. Keep writing!
