Weathering The Storms of Love

There I was heaven bound in a tree
I was going to be You or Me
Making it to heaven's Gate
Not a minute to late

We had a crash I smashed the car
To our alarm we were heaven bound by the stars
The Lord was there awaiting our arrival from the smash
Oh It was one Hell of a crash

We both died instantly no question of our fate
I slammed on the brakes but to no avail I went and fishtailed
The backend of that Black Chevy Van So much steel it was dam heavy
That black Chevy Van got the best of my Honda Civic

I should of invested in a bigger car
but we needed the good gas milage car
We payed it off ahead of time it was ours
Free and clear by the time it was said and done

It didn't matter to us that our Civic was in our hands
God had a better plan he showed us his home Land
That Place he had promised to all believers we were heaven bound
After the big sounds of that big crash on that dreadful night

A interesting poem my friend. I liked how you used the Honda Civic. Would be nice if two people who loved each found heaven together. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
