The Love That Landed on my Lap

The Love That Landed on my Lap

A Poem by Falcon1

The love that landed on my lap

She was the love that landed on my lap
I was very smitten by that
She was cute as a kitten
I should of said good reddens

To that whiskered face
That so Mesmerized me in my place
Sitting here wondering was she the cat from outer space
I looked at her once and known she was from another world

Not from earth she was that special kind of Girl
One who had curlers in her hair
and the waves made her look so fair
I was the winning horse in the race

With the blinders on I could not see past my face
I would follow her around the world to catch a glimpse
Of the prettiest girl in the human race
She said to me buster don't steer at my beautiful face

Because your taking up my space and my new Boyfriend
Will flatten your face if you don't get out of my space
So off to the other side of the gym to meet another Girl so slim
For this gal so slim was the love of my life
and the love that landed on my lap that night
