If only I had that sports car

If only I had that sports car

A Poem by Falcon1
"

Driving crazy and wild wanting woman to join in the fun and make me proud

"
If I only had a sports Car

Lord the woman would be all around me
If I only had that little red sports car to drive
We would cruise down sunset and vine
drinking the best bottle of wine

Until the cops caught me going faster then time allows
The police officer says to me Holy Cow
You a crazy fool my dear friend your going to Jail
and your license will be suspended for 3 months

Because of your crazy speed
you must have a demon seed
I would not let you off if you bagged and pleaded
Your fine is going to be the highest in the land

For this police officer has it all planned
You did the crime you must do the time
If only I had that sports car I would of escaped this rap
and not put up with this policeman's crap

But my Mustang has a broken piston only seven cylinder work
Bleeding the power from my engine block
My oil leaks and the motor talks back
It spits fire out the back end

Lord have mercy
In the big race I can't win
So the bad boy police officer is giving to me
The ticket that has no end

I bought a red sport car in 1991. Took me to 30 states. Today. Old man drive a reliable Honda. I enjoyed your words and thoughts. A honest ending but. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
