Hearing From My Girls

(A blessing every day)

One would be sure

If it wasn't for the fact that the both

Have grown up and moved away

Dad ask for a phone call about twice a week

Hearing from my Girls

Its a blessing its unique 

Amy and Becky

are there names

I love them both

Just the same

I live in Pittsburgh

Amy in Portland Oregon

Becky here with me in Pittsburgh

enough love to go around

To keep there Old man straight

Becky has 3 lovely children

the oldest one is eight

I will not be lonely anytime soon

I travel across country to see Amy

and spent as much time as I can 

with the 3 Grand Children under 8

and they love their papa too

Hearing from my Girls

Is a certain blessing too

It would be a devil curse 

if they never called me 

It would only make me blue.
