What Mother Meant to me

What Mother Meant to me

A Poem by Falcon1
"

Short Story

"
It is not hard to see
What My Mother Meant to me
She was my everything
My care giver at birth

She gave to me Life for all its worth
Mother and Father
done all they could to raise me right
Teach me right from wrong

Know when to fight
and know when to move on
My parents were simple folks
They made me worship the Breathe I take

Mother was the center of my human race
She sent me off to school with a smile
Too learn the golden rules
I learned so much from Mother

She guided my every step
Molded me to the Man I have become today
She taught me how to face a defeat
With purpose in the street

Mother had a light hearted charm
Lifting my spirits when they were down
Mother gave to me the crowning moment
When ever I was waring a frown

She would turn my frown upside down
She said a smile is contagious
Wear it with pride
The world will smile back at you
and Let the Lord be your Guide.
