Quench my Soul

Spiritual Reading

As night time falls upon us all

dear Lord Quench my Soul

I have fallen from the ashes

And I will return to dust

But you can restore the dust dear Lord

Make a new Life for us

we are humbled before you

Our legs bend at the knees

Dear Lord Please hear my Plea

Come rescue me

Rescue me from the Lake of Fire

You know down there is not my desire

My hands are raised up in praise to you

A place in heaven will do

I ask for mercy and your Grace

as You look down upon my face

Forgive my transgressions

As You know I am not worthy to be in your presents

I can't earn my way into heaven

Only by the Grace of God are we saved

So I am here to ask a favor of the Lord
