Rosemary Gainer

She was here and they she's gone

This is my story of Rosemary Gainer

She was pleasant to talk to and well known at college

She wanted to get a degree in finance 

and work at a financial institution

Her main goal was to work on Wall Street some day

She had big dreams but for now

School was her pride and joy

Making the grades

Doing reports

Finding her way around

at this time she did not have a main interest

In a special someone

She kind of kept to her self

Didn't go to school party's

Just was a regular girl with a good heart

and wanting to get a good start on her college career

was all she need to concentrate on this seamster

She would like to work her way on to the Dean's list

and to score the highest grades possible

There was no man she had an eye for

Just books and studies

That's for sure

She took a part time job

at a coffee shop

yes it was Starbucks Seattle's finest

She was learning fast

and the manager's like her work ethic's 

She was going to get about 15 hours a week

at the coffee shop with the money she made

it will offset the expense of books and some food

Her class hours were spread out between

Monday's Wednesday's and Thursday's

While having other times to work and study

College is a new place for minds to grow

Lots of new challenges

Yes Miss Rosemary Gainer

Some day will be on Wall Street

but for now it's the College experience

she must take to get there

Her path is clear

She will let nothing stand in her way

of success she is a liberated woman

With no barriers to stop her

she has her great mind to guide her

and I for one will learn to respect her

For she will complete task

and rise to higher heights

She will be like bright stars at night

There is nothing to stop her in her path
