Teaching the baby

Teaching the baby

A Poem by Falcon1
"

A humble experience

"
Teaching the baby is all I want to do
In my senior years golden as they may be
The baby does not say much
just a smile will make you laugh
and that will make your day
A baby's love is so unconditional
They like attention
and Did I forget to mention
Teaching them to talk is an all day love affair
That is all I seem to care about
is to see her smile and laugh about
She can run and walk now
She lost her baby belly
She is dangerous she like to climb
on the furniture
And walk up the steps
Makes we run a marathon
When It's just me and her
one on one
She can throw a ball
pretty far
We play with toys that
teach her ABC's
And 123
teaches how to say her name
Preschool it's for fun and games

this poem had a nice genuine pace to it. If anything slow it down, don't let them grow up so fast, A few more verses and the baby is driving a car. What a precious poem, these little ones are so humbling are they not?
