Happy and I know why

A message answered?

I'm happy and I know why

Because my girl friend left me for another guy

My Standards are changing

My stomach is weak

I just can't get my girl out of my head

I need me a shrink

She was a sweet hearted woman

She called me her man

But the times they were a changing

and you know times do not stand still

She took another look in another direction

My love for her had died

along with my pride

I had to follow a new guide

climb a new ladder

to the new heights

Where the other woman of my heart 

may be waiting for me

A simple love I look for

to ease me pain of love lost

Could it be another girl with a warm embrace

That could take the place of my old girl

and erase the image I have of her face

I like this, not too flowery and to the point. I would say it's quite good but the middle could be a bit better, it's not as interesting or gripping as the rest.
