Pity me 

See me, hold me, treasure me,

Keep me safe from myself.

Because sometimes I lie to me,

And afterwards I cry for hours.

Hug me, hold me, keep me,

From the things I want to forget.

Hold me with you in the night, or

Tie me up and leave me on my bed.

See me, save me, my sweet salvation,

However I call you, you will become. 

Have me, keep me, and hold on to me,

Because whenever you leave, I’m lost.
