Alluring eyes

Alluring eyes

A Poem by R.A. Youngblood

As I watch you walk by in pure harmony
Your eyes show me the core of your morbid dawn,
Lit by the torches of flaming desire with wood of carved artistry.
The oasis of your dreams is left on the soft pillows,
Activated by the glow of two skins retracting underneath each other.
After continuously being dragged into the forlorn,
Moonlit skies will bring you hope as they did every time
When the golden diamonds ran down your cheek.
Open your alluring eyes and look inside of yourself
Just the way you are looking at mine.
While I am opening the veils of my heart,
Let your river flow in them and let it
Extinguish the consuming fires
We sometimes have in our tired heads.
As I will touch your soul into shape,
I will catch the glances of your incoming grief
And turn them into butterflies.

Ummm. Ok then. This is good poetry. Not to be negative or anything but it's hard for me to even read a poem here. Most aren't that good. This is clever, creative, and nice to enjoy. ❤️
