PrevailA Poem by R.A. Youngblood
Et nihil humanum,
Yet something every skin can relate to. It goes under, leaving a nutritional feeling We all crave for. When the sun says goodbye, Aging room sends us kisses To come and lay in warm and soft silence And watch the dappled shade of the trees outside. Spider webs are hanging from the corners of our eyes, Catching new, yet not given realities. Don't be afraid of the breeze, Don't close your eyes. You should see yourself, dear, When spiders crawl under your rooted fallacies. © 2017 R.A. YoungbloodAuthor's Note
