Ocean FloorA Poem by R.A. YoungbloodIntuition
Matrix is changing colors,
Licking the depth we are sinking in. It's creating thicker overlays, Until it freezes our minds Between the signs. The voice keeps talking Between the depth and the surface, Between the abnormality and normality. Broken pictures are laying on the bottom, Looking weird and abstract. By looking them The feelings of hope are approaching. The bottom of the ocean is separating in two. We are standing on one, Weeping for the other. We are afraid to fall in deeper. We used to know how to swim, Till we put shackles on ourselves. Embers can be guardians, But not in this case. They brought us to something they cannot affect on. They slipped in the bubbles, Then start to spread from one point to a big flower Traveling to the surface, They disappeared in the cold vibrating air. We start leaning on the wind, Hearing the noise of watery leaf, Singing the song of this very end. Gentle stones beneath our legs are slipping in We fall on our backs Holding on the edge. We are close enough to see The spining circles. Heat is suddenly breaking our sight. We look up. The Sun is pouring lava from its follicles, Releasing it in the sea. Fear is running over miles and miles Becoming light like a veil it floats on the surface. We are closing our eyes. Opening the hand. © 2016 R.A. YoungbloodAuthor's Note
