sorry means nothing

sorry means nothing

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

I'm sorry..
she screamed as her girlfriend died
a gun to her head, found on the kitchen side
she shouts about cheating and lying and more
but she's not the one shaking, dead on the floor
she's obviously dead, no doubt about it
but what if there was a chance? maybe a bit?
Her girlfriend layed dead that night sprawled on the ground
too bad it's her love that reported her found
later that day when the lucky girl said
'she caught me and her sister hugging in her bed
it was all innocent.. at first I admit,
i kinda just kissed her, a tiny little bit'
but obviously this was too much for the poor girl
found the handgun, kept safe with her shiny new pearls
repeated I'm sorry, and with a great huff
knew that a sorry was never enough..
*BANG*
