The cougher's pain

The cougher's pain

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

Her lungs fill up with troublesome air,

She cannot breathe, but people stare.

Coughs were echoed upon deaf ears.

It hurt her too much, She ended in tears...

For such a sweet girl, Her lungs were not well.

Maybe asthma was the problem, It made her throat swell.

The poor girl could not breathe But no one cared to help.

An inhaler, a drink? She had to find herself...

She tries her best to laugh it off. But it just does not work.

Her laughs will go unheard for a while.. The distant croak will lurk.

This is the outcome of a terrible cough.

Her lungs just couldn't handle.

My deepest sypmathy goes to the girl.

My sweet friend Hannah Randall.

Glad to see that people care for others out there. I think writing poetry for them shows a caring that a trinket or a gift certificate cannot convey.

It's nice whenever I see a friend think so highly of them that they will actually be so much an influence that they will write about them. I too have had friends in troublesome conditions and to see them in pain - if I could id take it away and I feel in this piece that you maybe are that type of person also. Very good write!

Tell her whiskey and honey will assist. Honey will relax the throat and the whiskey will make her relax. Put in some good tea. Old cure I used last night to defeat my sickness and been working for 52 years. A very interesting poem. I hope your friend is feeling better.
