Between my mind and my words

I am fine.

I am not going to cry.

I just want to die.

I am fine.

I can't stand it anymore.

I am fine.

My heart is breaking in two.

I am fine.

 

Don't worry.

Please don't leave me.

Dont' worry.

I hide my feelings away.

Don't worry.

My bright green eyes fill up.

Don't worry.

Need to keep smiling.

Don't worry.

Can't take it anymore.

 

And with a gun to my head, I end this torture,

Bye bye world,

you have never been good to me.

It's ashame when we lie to our selves and you have potrayed that wonderfully. So many people lie to themselves therir family, friends, and anybody who wants to help. They can be afraid or don't want even to be singled out but, eventually that darkness that hides in their shadow can eat them up until they can truly say I'm not fine, worry, and help. Well done with your writing you can feel the feeling and emotions that run in and out the words and the poem was so simple in looking at the life of a person who needed help in their short and soon to be gone life. Excellent job all and all and keep up the fabulous work.

I love the repetition in this poem...It works really well with the words. Also the layout by having certain lines in italics. You can read the italics without reading the other bits and still understand it.
