Hush Hush Lullaby

Hush Hush Lullaby

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

Hush little poor girl,

Don't you cry,

The badman's gonna tell them

another lie...

If you tell them anything,

The badman's gonna break off

another wing...

Your angelic smile shall be no more,

The look in your eyes will get too sore,

When you go to sleep at night,

Make sure you turn off your light,

Lock the door and hide away,

If you want to see another day,

I know you really need to be heard,

But your words come out all blurred,

So hush little poor girl,

Don't you cry,

He'll hear you,

Please, don't say bye-bye

couldnt help it, but i had the nursery song in my head through it, but i guess thats meant! :L
it comes across that this is about a father (or step-father?) (or any man?) abusing a young girl! you can really feel the hurt, really good write!!!

It sounds like that nursery rhyme song. The one that starts something like "Hush little baby dont you cry, Mamms gunna by you a mocking bird" It goes something like that. :-)
