My special world

My special world

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

I wonder what it's like out there,

away from my special mind

Where people are able to get hurt

Where I always sat and cried,

I created my own fantasy

Where everything is good,

No more tears and no more sadness

Everything the way it should,

I wonder if people know

I live in my own head,

I decided that the normal side

Was bad so then instead

I created a whole new place,

new year and date and time,

Where not a tear can fall from

A poor hurt child's eyes,

This world is where I live,

I love it here and all,

But when I get dragged back

To reality...

My head soon hit a wall,

The real world never liked me

It hurt me everyday,

But my world always took me back

And that's where I will stay

"My head [will] soon hit a wall,"
The rest of the lines around this were written in future tense.
The rhythm was a bit choppy, but the rhyming added a nice touch.
"I decided that the normal side
Was bad so then instead
I created a whole new place,
new year and date and time,"
I liked that phrase a lot :)
This was well done; keep it up :)
