My teddy

My teddy

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

My teddy, over there on the floor,

Why are you all alone?

Why do I feel like you're the only one who understands?

You're just material and fluff...

Why is it, when I'm happy,

You don't exist?

But when I'm sad,

You're the only one there...?

You were there when shouts were heard,

When bangs and booms were made,

When cries were echoing through the house...

When silence took over,

When I was to scared to cry anymore...

My teddy, over there, on the floor,

I'm sorry you're all alone...

Its so sweet, we all have a symbol of the teddy, something that really means to us. Teddy Sure have a very deep meaning to us, no matter to children our adults, adults used to say they're doing serious stuff, but I don't think thats what they should do, everyone have a life, a life to spend.
Its a cute poem, I love the teddy in your poem, iI hope I can get that warm soft, fluffy bear bear teddy :)

Sweet as honey...precious companion...even I had one when just a boy. I think this is great, and very, very well done.

Nice work...!

This is very good. Poor Teddy. Where is mine? (looking around frantically)...oh yeah, I left him on the couch. Whew! Close call. He has one eye that was sewn on kind of crooked so I named him "Wink". Familiar objects are seemingly often endowed with special powers to comfort us or cheer us up. And those who discount the understanding of that force or belittle its effects are simply ignorant or prideful persons who are emotionally immature. The witchdoctor has his charms; the librarian, his books...everything from CDs to pets can be comfort totems and provide powerful healing forces to battle depression and anxiety. Great write.
