To look life in the face

I took a look at life itself
and hated what I saw,
evil spreading faster than light
yet it is such a short war.

Such evil lies in an ugly place,
a hell where there's this end,
it comes at quite the fastest pace
A life you just can't defend.

This world will take your every breath,
will take countless endless days.
Every muscle strained til death
under the suns most burning rays.

But what is this all for?
Why do we keep trying?
To work our way through everyday
But end this sad life dying.
