Gray Eyes See a Grey WorldA Poem by Faithfuldream
A long winter night,
A cold dark room, An abandoned child, A fallen groom, Cruel Pains and bitter sorrows, Lifeless washed out hay, kills the joys of tomorrow, They Color the sky gray, Teapot with a broken handle, Shattered glass on the floor, Almost burnt out pretty candle, Fire incinerating the successful store, A ravens scary crow, Wrinkled skin showing tough years, Evil enemies and foes, A mother timid with her fears, Somber, an emotion of no life, Demons in the valley, Gloom coming from strife, Angry people start to rally, Sharp swords and piercing spears, Get up now, quickly run, For the song your heart has heard, Shall never be played or sung,
