Maker, my Maker

Maker, my Maker

A Poem by Asmus Green
"

A little religious, poetic pondering. Religion has always fascinated me in many ways. The core of it, that is.

"

Doubt;

Maker, walk with me, the shallow idea of life is nothing compared to your

ever-loving grace

Maker, Stand with me, as the tides gets taller, colder and darker.

I’ll move when you say so.

Maker, grab me, when all is lost and gone,

you whisper with tender dreams and hopes of a life more ideal.

Maker, carry me, never a lie you’d tell, yet I dare doubt you,

I dare demand your presence.

Maker, forgive me, for I have forgotten what you taught, your whisper is gone and so is my heart.

Maker, hear me, as you used to, which I’d never doubt.

What better silence than the one you let out.

Desperation;

Maker, my Maker, make me forget what I am, so that I may become you.

You are everything I could never be, and with that everything I ever was.

Maker my maker, as cold as the morning dew

I can never dream of you truly, but whenever I forget, I remember the loss.

 Truth;

Maker, my Maker.

 To live life, is to live through you. I live to see you through, and with that, myself too.
