Inject the Ink

Inject the Ink

A Poem by William
"

This one's about a character coming to life, about artists and writers literally breathing life into their creations; Bendy was actually an inspiration, but it is dedicated to my own character

"

Trapped in raven symbols of your pain,

I curse the day you made me up inside your head

A monster made of ink is now your bane,

I am alive and live the horrors in your stead

Dreams do come true, and yours did too

You breathed your life inside of me

I feel, I live and suffer just like you,

Tormented to the same degree

We’ll only part once I’m complete,

I’ll kill the four to set us free,

I’ll brave the fate you’ve weaved for me

To look into your eyes and make you see

What is the truest magic of your art

You’re crafting souls with words and image

Believe in me with all your heart

And you will grant my soul a visage

We’ll dance in rains of pure torment

While we consume the flesh we crave

I hope you’ll paint me to the end,

My dear master and my candid slave

We’ll soar to radiant Higher Skies,

Cold Abyss will take our souls

O’er fields of purple we will rise

Once we both fulfil our roles

The world will hear our distant cries

As your madness slowly crawls

You knew the terms, you knew the price

Now the morbid chime bell tolls
