Mama Bird

Mama Bird

A Poem by Emma Lee

Fly away, Mamma Bird.

Your babies will learn on their own,
you can't be with them forever,
they need to flap their wings and fly.

Fly to the sky, Mama Bird.

You may be gone,
but you'll forever be in their hearts,
you can never be forgotten

Fly up to Heaven, Mama Bird.

Your time is up,
you fly with angels now.
Your babies are grown,
with babies of their own,
But, they know you're still there.

Rest now, Mama Bird.
