True Love

love is thrown around

way to often

love should mean the world

but the meaning has been forgotten

 have heard love stories

told by many

yet it seems that only i can see

that none are true

it seems that only i

know the definition

love means

total devotion

love means fear and hate

if you are truly in love

then you will always feel the pain

but only if it is true love

it is fear that you will lose them

and hating yourself

for being afraid

it is anger as well

at those you feel

come between you and them

it can never be true love

without jealousy

because of the fear

that you will lose them

this is the definition

of true love

the real definition

the one that is true

after saying this,

i want you to know,

that i love you.

Again, I love the fact that there's no puncuation, except this one I found a tad hard to read without it. But that's just my personal thoughts. Great poem though, beautifully written :)
