Remembering DecemberA Poem by astoundinglyattractiveDo you still think of me? Under that cold December rain? And all the times that we said we'd be reborn to live again? Oh, but a door was open: left me entry to your heart. And I got lost in there, got lost.
Oh, I'm waiting for you to come, and rescue me. Oh, I'm waiting for you, so come and rescue me.
And everyone knows the sun shines after rain. After all, how else are rainbows made? And everyone knows that snow melts into spring, and rises to the clouds for the rain December brings.
Oh, I'm waiting for you to come, and rescue me. Oh, I'm waiting for you, so come and rescue me.
Will you think of me when December comes again? And the wind is rushing, cold and brisk, and burns your skin. You left the door open, and the snow is rushing in. And it buries you alive, alive.
Oh, everyone knows that there's only so much one can give. Oh, but they forget that death is the least of it. And everyone knows that everybody dies. But we all still cry, looking in their lifeless eyes.
Do you still think of me? Under that cold December rain? And all the times that we said we'd be reborn to live again? Oh, but a door was open: left me entry to your heart. And I got lost in there, got lost. © 2013 astoundinglyattractiveReviews
